The Story

A talented ensemble cast highlights this offbeat indepedent drama. One young man had everything going for him: A beautiful fiance and a caring family.
His world is about to crumble. He soon gives up on life and begins to live on the streets. There is befriends the homeless Molly (Jamie Belanger) and Simon (Humberto Bermudez).

A violent hustler named Ponch (Allan Medina) is trying to control the city's downtown drug trade. But to do so, he must first eliminate the rival drug dealer Mace (Martin Seijo). Caught in the middle of this battle is Rachel (Annalisa Kyler) who is risking her life to be with the man that she loves. Ponch's rage and ambition builds to unthinkable levels. This predator walks the cold streets looking to kill anyone in his way. He pushes to gain more material posessions and does not believe in consequences.

When problems arise, these characters lose their grasp on control. Fate plunges each of them into desperate circumstances and they soon find themselves struggling to survive desperate circumstances. But, that is just the beginning...

Alone and Restless takes you on the vicious cycle of events that are linked together and then moves beyond them. Before long, many minds crack and it becomes difficult to discern reality from nightmares.

Alone and Restless will be shot on an unprecedented level of formats for a unique visual quality. It will also mix genres and simulate a documentary in certain portions of the film. Michael Thomas Dunn wrote and directed this major motion picture. Dunn has been recognized internationally for his unique visual style that he created in his earlier experimental films. Alone and Restless is the first feature film he has directed.
